1. The Reserve Bank of India has reduced the repo rate by 25 basis points from 6.5 per cent to 6.25 per cent in its Sixth Bi-monthly Monetary Policy. Other Policy rates are as follows-
Reverse Repo rate- 6.0 percent
Bank Rate- 6.5 per cent
Marginal Standing Facility- 6.5 per cent
– भारतीय रिज़र्व बैंक ने अपनी छठी द्विमासिक मौद्रिक नीति में रेपो दर को 25 आधार अंक से घटाकर 6.5 प्रतिशत से 6.25 प्रतिशत कर दिया है। अन्य नीतिगत दरें इस प्रकार हैं-
रिवर्स रेपो दर- 6.0 प्रतिशत
बैंक दर- 6.5 प्रतिशत
सीमांत स्थायी सुविधा- 6.5 प्रतिशत
2. Father Franois Laborde, a 92-year-old priest, was conferred the Legion d’Honneur, the highest civilian award of France, in recognition of his work for specially-abled children.
– फ्रांस ने विकलांग बच्चों के लिए किये गये काम को देखते हुये 92 वर्षीय पादरी फादर फ्रानोइस लाबोर्दे को अपने सर्वोच्च नागरिक सम्मान लेजन द आनर से सम्मानित किया।
3. Rajasthan Government launched ‘Rajiv Gandhi Career Portal’ for students from classes 9 to 12. The portal aims to provide career guidance with information on entrance examinations, scholarships and employment-oriented courses.
– राजस्थान सरकार ने नौंवी से बारहवीं कक्षा तक के विद्यार्थियों के लिए ‘राजीव गांधी कॅरियर पोर्टल’ शुरू किया। इसके जरिये विद्यार्थियों को कॅरियर के लिए मार्गदर्शन प्राप्त होगा तथा विभिन्न प्रवेश परीक्षाओं, छात्रवृत्तियों एवं रोजगार पाठ्यक्रमों की जानकारी मिल सकेगी।
4. Andhra Pradesh Government has introduced a new scheme, called Annadata Sukhibhava to give economic support to Annadatas (farmers).
– आंध्र प्रदेश सरकार ने अन्नदाताओं (किसानों) को आर्थिक सहायता देने के लिए अन्नदाता सुखीभाव नामक एक नई योजना शुरू की है।
5. The Union Cabinet has approved the proposal for establishment of ‘Rashtriya Kamdhenu Aayog’ for Conservation protection and development of cows and their progeny.
– गोवंश के संरक्षण और संवर्द्धन के लिए ‘राष्ट्रीय कामधेनु आयोग’ के गठन के प्रस्ताव को केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडल ने मंजूरी दे दी।
6. The Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has approved Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between India and Brazil on cooperation in the field of Traditional Systems of Medicine and Homoeopathy.
– प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी की अध्यक्षता में केन्द्रीय मंत्रिमंडल ने चिकित्सा की पारंपरिक प्रणालियों और होम्योपैथी के क्षेत्र में सहयोग के लिए भारत और ब्राजील के बीच सहमति पत्र (एमओयू) को स्वीकृति दे दी है।
7. The Union Cabinet has approved the MoU between India and Finland for collaborating based on mutual interest in the field of Biotechnology, for funding and implementing ambitious industry-led innovative and transnational projects within the broad scope of research development and innovation.
– केन्द्रीय मंत्रिमंडल ने भारत और फिनलैंड के बीच हुए समझौता ज्ञापन को अपनी मंजूरी दी है। यह समझौता ज्ञापन महत्वाकांक्षी उद्योग-जन्य नवाचार और अंतर्राष्ट्रीय परियोजनाओं को अनुसंधान विकास और नवाचार के व्यापक कार्य क्षेत्र में लागू करने और वित्त पोषण के लिए जैव प्रौद्योगिकी के क्षेत्र में आपसी हितों के आधार पर सहयोग करने के लिए किया गया है।
8. The Reserve Bank of India projected an economic growth rate of 7.4 per cent for the next fiscal, up from 7.2 per cent estimated for the current fiscal by Central Statistics Office (CSO).
– भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक (आरबीआई) ने अगले वित्त वर्ष में देश की सकल घरेलू उत्पाद (जीडीपी) वृद्धि दर 7.4 प्रतिशत रहने का अनुमान जताया है। यह केंद्रीय सांख्यिकी कार्यालय (सीएसओ) के चालू वित्त वर्ष के 7.2 प्रतिशत के अनुमान से अधिक है।
