At a speed of 180 kms an hour (with maximum potential speeds reaching upto 220 kms per hour) and powered by 25,000 Volts Alternating Current (AC) electrification at 50 Hertz frequency, ‘Train-18’ is now officially the fastest train in the country. India has finally joined the SHSPC (Semi High Speed Passenger Corridor) elite club. Following are 2 videos of the successful trial run.
